Roger Mayweather speaks about Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr ? Boxing News
Roger Mayweather, uncle and trainer of current WBC welterweight titlist Floyd Mayweather Jr., has once again asserted that Filipino fight king Manny Pacquiao uses ?steroids? to enhance his skills in the ring. When asked if Pacquiao will be able to defeat Juan Manuel Marquez for the third time on December 8, Roger asserted that the Filipino can if he uses ?steroids? again.
?Well, as long as they allow him to take those steroids he will. Long as they allow him to take those pills he will. But I know one thing, his last fight, didn?t he lose to Bradley? I know everybody said that he won, but you know how that work, Bradley is with Bob Arum, and Arum has both of them guys so they have to fight Floyd,? said Roger in his recent interview.
Roger was then asked if his nephew Floyd is ready to fight the Filipino fight sensation, to which the trainer asserted that he has no reasons for not fighting them.
?Floyd?s gonna fight em, why wouldn?t he fight them? Anytime you are getting that type of money, how the hell are you not going to fight them,? he asserted.
It should be noted here that the Mayweathers have previously landed into trouble for accusing Pacquiao of using steroids. Now, Roger Mayweather has done it again and probably he has called upon the wrath of Pacquiao once again.
Pacquiao will be facing Juan Manuel Marquez for the fourth time on December 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The Filipino has already defeated the Mexican ring legend twice, with the first fight ending up in a tie. However, Pacquiao?s victories over Marquez were never appreciated by fans all around the world, as they were too close. Most analysts believe that Pacquiao lost the last fight which took place last year in December.
Now, the Filipino wants to defeat Marquez via knockout in order to silence critics once and for all. He knows a dominant victory over Marquez would take him to a fight against Mayweather, something Pacquiao is desperate to go for probably by next year.
